Pencil, acrylic on linen – Dreams

This series of drawings is made on linens made of my family old bed sheets. Most of them were used since I was a child. Materials used are pencil, black pencil, and acrylics which I treated as aquarelle.  Hard lines of the drawing are confronted with soft parts spread over with acrylics. There is no specific space, only hints of space. Dream like motifs is associated with chosen materials, because of the softness of the linens that associate with safety, dreams, and tranquility. They represent some kind of mind map and dreams. All of them are small, approximately 10×15 cm.

Pencil, acrylic on linens, dimension aprox. 50x70cm, year 2014
